ATF Offers Reward in Gun Store Burglary
Kansas City, MO — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department, today announced a reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the person responsible for stealing several firearms from a federally licensed firearms dealer in Kansas City, Kansas.
On October 24th at approximately 11:55p.m., an unknown individual rammed a stolen black Kia Soul through the front doors of Frontier Justice, 10000 France Family Drive, Kansas City, KS. The Kansas City Field Division of ATF and the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department are investigating. ATF has offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the lone suspect. Investigators have learned that the same suspect attempted to break into a Bass Pro Shop, approximately one mile south of Frontier Justice, on the evening of the 24th, but was unable to gain entry. Surveillance photos of the suspect and vehicle are attached to this release. The vehicle used in the break in has since been recovered.
