$3K Reward Offered in Cheviot Larceny
CINCINNATI — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the National Shooting Sports Foundation – the trade association for the firearms industry – are announcing a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for the theft of a firearm from Arms & Accessories, located at 3400 Harrison Ave., Cheviot, OH. ATF and NSSF are jointly offering a potential total reward of up to $3,000.
On August 2, at approximately 2:30 p.m., three individuals entered the federally licensed gun shop. Two individuals kept the proprietor occupied while the third stole a handgun. All three then exited the store. Information received indicates that these individuals may have ties to the Dayton area as well.
This larceny is being investigated by ATF’s Columbus Field Division jointly with the Cheviot Police Department.
Anyone having information about this incident should contact ATF at 1-888-ATF-TIPS (888-283-8477). This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF and ATF in which NSSF matches ATF rewards in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed retailers.
