South Bend Man Sentenced to 132 Months in Prison

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Lincoln Glass, 30, of South Bend, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Damon R. Leichty after pleading guilty to distribution of methamphetamine, announced U.S. Attorney Clifford D. Johnson.

Glass was sentenced to 132 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

According to documents in the case, in 2021, Glass sold different types of controlled substances on three separate occasions: in September one pound of methamphetamine; in November and December fentanyl pills. In March 2022, law enforcement recovered a loaded handgun stored with dealer amounts of marijuana from Glass’ residence.

This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) with assistance from the DEA North Central Laboratory, the Indiana State Police, and the Mishawaka Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Joel Gabrielse.

This case was part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) investigation. OCDETF identifies, disrupts, and dismantles the highest-level drug traffickers, money launderers, gangs, and transnational criminal organizations that threaten the United States by using a prosecutor-led, intelligence-driven, multi-agency approach that leverages the strengths of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies against criminal networks.
