Paperwork Reduction Act Extension of an Existing Information Collection
Purpose: 
The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 60 days for public comment on the revision of an existing collection. The proposed information collection pertains to licensees and permittees whose mailing address will changes. The licensee or permittee must notify the chief at ATF's Federal Explosives Licensing Center, at least 10 days before to the change. The information is used by ATF to correctly identify storage locations of explosives materials for inspection purposes. It is also used to notify licensees/permittees of any change in regulations or laws that affecting their business activities.
