Paperwork Reduction Act Extension of an Existing Information Collection
Purpose:
The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 60 days for public comment on the extension of an existing collection. The proposed information collection pertains to reporting to ATF any changes in responsible persons or employees authorized to possess explosive materials by all persons holding ATF explosives licenses or permits. Such report must be submitted within 30 days of the change and must include appropriate identifying information for each responsible person.
