Paperwork Reduction Act Notice on Extension of an Existing Information Collection
Purpose: 
The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. The proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register on Dec. 17, 2014. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides an additional 30 days for additional comment on the existing collection. The proposed information collection pertains to information requested on a form submitted to ATF to determine whether the person who provided the information is qualified to be an employee possessor in an explosive business. Each employee possessor in the explosives business or operations required to ship, transport, receive, or possess (actual or constructive), explosive materials must submit this form.
