Description :Application for Federal Firearms License – 30 day Notice – comment period ends March 5, 2015 Summary :The form is used to obtain permission to export firearms and serves as a vehicle to allow either the removal of the firearm from registration in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record or collection of an excise tax. It is used by Federal firearms licensees and others to obtain a benefit.
