The website www.solventcatch.com has been seized for forfeiture under 26 U.S.C. § 7302 by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as part of a joint investigation with the Department of Homeland Security and the United States Postal Inspection Service. This seizure was based on the website’s use in violation of the National Firearms Act, and executed pursuant to a federal seizure warrant issued by the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Notice of forfeiture proceedings against this website will be issued as required by federal law.

It is a violation of federal law to manufacture, receive, possess, make, transport, and/or deliver a silencer in violation of the National Firearms Act (see 26 U.S.C. §§ 5861(a), (d), (e), (f), and (j)).
