Recent Find
K-9 Sunny recently assisted a local police department with the search for a discarded firearm. Police officers responded to a call for “shots fired” by an unknown individual. When authorities arrived, the suspect led them on a foot chase through a wooded area.
Although they were able to arrest the individual, local police were unable to find the firearm and contacted ATF for assistance. K-9 Sunny and SACH Alongi arrived on the scene to assist with the investigation. Once on site, K-9 Sunny began to search the area and readily located the suspected firearm in the thick wooded area of the crime scene. Local police used the evidence to prosecute the suspect.
