The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. The proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register on December 5, 2016. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 30 days for public comment on the extension of a currently approved information collection. The proposed information collection pertains to the ATF Form 5000.30, which allows ATF to identify waste product(s) generated as a result of explosives operations, the disposal of these products into navigable waters, and if there is any adverse impact on the environment.
