Paperwork Reduction Act Notice on Extension of an Existing Information Collection
Purpose:
The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 60 days for public comment on the proposed extension of the existing form ATF Form 5300.38. ATF Form 5300.38 is primarily used by federal firearms licensees to apply to change the location of their business premises, change the trade business name, mailing address, contact information, hours of operation and availability, or any changes of the business structure.
