ATF, Virginia Beach Crime Solvers and National Shooting Sports Foundation Offer $11K Reward in Virginia Beach Federal Firearms Licensee Burglary
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering up to $5,000 in conjunction with National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) who are offering $5,000 and the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers who are also offering up to $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction for those responsible for the burglary of the DOA Arms gun store located at located at 977 Reon Drive.
On December 8, unknown suspects forced entry into DOA Arms gun store where numerous firearms were stolen, to include handguns and rifles.
“ATF works diligently with our local, state, and federal partners to disrupt the cycle of criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms. We will continue to collaborate with our partners to ensure that the stolen firearms are recovered,” ATF Washington Field Division Special Agent in Charge Charlie J. Patterson said. “ATF’s Crime Gun Intelligence Center will continue to extend our investigative resources needed to apprehend the individuals responsible for this act. We are also calling upon community members to provide any information that will assist us in locating and holding those involved accountable for this crime before they are used in a crime of violence.”
The Virginia Beach Police Department are seeking to identify the owners of the below pictured vehicles, which are believed to be involved in the crime.
