ATF Offering Reward for Wanted Individual

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) today announced a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the location, arrest and conviction of James Isaac Hopkins. Hopkins’ was a resident of Spartanburg, S.C and is still believed to be located in the Spartanburg area.

Hopkins is described as a 38-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 205 pounds. He was indicted in July 2017 after an altercation in Spartanburg, where authorities recovered a stolen handgun and narcotics. Hopkins has prior convictions for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and criminal domestic violence.
