ATF, NSSF Offer Reward for Yazoo City FFL Burglaries

Yazoo City, Miss. —The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) New Orleans Field Division is offering a $10,000 reward, along with a $5,000 reward from the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, for a total of up to $15,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for two burglaries of Delta Auto Parts, Inc., a federal firearms licensee (FFL), that occurred within a week of each other.

On Jan. 6, and Jan. 11, 2019, multiple suspects forced entry into and burglarized Delta Auto Parts, Inc. located at 647 Haley Barbour Pkwy., Yazoo City, MS 39194. Multiple firearms were stolen during each burglary.

The ATF Jackson Field Office and the Yazoo City Police Department are jointly investigating these crimes. Anyone with information about these crimes should contact the ATF Jackson Field Office at 601-863-0900 or 1-888-ATF-TIPS (888-283-8477), by email ATFTips@atf.gov , or through the ATF website at www.atf.gov/contact/atf-tips, or the Yazoo City Police Department at 662-746-1131.

Anonymous tips may also be submitted to ATF through the ReportIt® mobile app, available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store , or by visiting www.reportit.com. With this app, users can confidentially submit tips involving firearms and violent crimes.

This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF and ATF in which NSSF matches ATF’s reward in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers. ATF works closely with members of the firearms industry to curb the criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms.

ATF is the lead federal law enforcement agency with jurisdiction involving firearms and violent crimes, and regulates the firearms industry. More information about ATF and its programs is available at www.atf.gov.
